June Favourites

Simple moisturiser
Having really sensitive, oily yet dehydrated and acne prone skin I struggle
to find day moisturisers I like, that can be worn under makeup. This is
wonderful as it sinks into the skin immediately and doesn't effect your
makeup application. Also a little goes a long way so it should last a wile.
Will defiantly be repurchasing this again.

Mac prep and prime fix plus
lifesaver when your hot, cools you down, doesn't make you look wet.
Makes makeup last longer on hot days, can't say I'd use it instead of
a primer but defiantly helps makeup to last.

Ex1 Invisiwear Foundation
Favourite foundation ever! it gives a beautiful airbrushed finish.
it has such good build-able coverage but is so lightweight and not thick.
Blends like a dream and lasts well. I've never tried anything like it.
Wish they had more shades because I'd love to wear this when I'm pale too.
Following on from this foundation my faveoriet concealer that also gives such an
airbrushed finish and looks beautiful in photos is the Maybelline age rewind.
This combined with the foundation is pure perfection.

L'oreal Glam Bronze 06 golden bronze
Bought this bronzer on a whim and I love it to warm up my face with
Didn't notice it had shimmer in until I photographed it.

Gosh Prep and Prime Powder - Superdrug £10on offer regularly
When it comes to powders I will spend a lot because drugstore powders
seem to look a hot mess on me. I use this to prime under my foundation
and over to set, it's the most silky and leith weight powder I've ever used.
It's way better then my Chanel, urban decay and Nars powders, it actually
makes them seem quite cheap and chalky. This is great for all skin types
especially really oily. When I sandwich my foundation it doesn't matter
how hot I get running around at work my makeup stays looking the same
all day! I'm so impressed.

L'oreal colour riche - shade 134
Been into a bright lip recently and I've fallen head over heels for this lipstick,
it's the most perfect shade of fuchsia, smells Devine, isn't drying and is very long lasting.

Prada candy florale 50ml
Such a beautiful girly, fresh and summery scent. Love it!

Osmo wonder 10 leave in treatment
Have been using this for nearly 2 years and i couldn't live without it.
I have insanely thick hair. I wouldn't even be able to get my tangle teezer
through my hair if I didn't have this product.
It not only protects your hair from heat, conditions it, untangles it but it also improves
the condition of your hair over time drastically I don't get any hair falling out anymore
it also helps the hair to grow. You must get this product if you have thick/ knotted hair.
I think it's £6 from salon services. But I'm sure you'll find it elsewhere.

ZOEVA Luxe Prime Brush Set

I recently bit the bullet and bought my first Zoeva brush set. I've always wanted to get some,
I've had my eye on the rose goldenluxury set vol 2 and whilst I really want them and will one day get them, I may add :') I thought practically and got the set that had the most brushes I needed in.
WHERE HAVE I BEEN? I feel like I've wasted years using crappy brushes and missing out. Good brushes really do improve your makeup. I'm so impressed with the quality of these brushes. I wasn't expecting them to be this great but I was pleasantly surprised. Your getting a lot for your money. Every beauty lover needs these. So affordable for such great quality and beautiful packaging.

1-101/Luxe face definer
Love this brush, it's great for powder, blush, bronzer, contour and even highlight.
I like to use it to apply setting powder, it's the perfect shape for under the eyes and is very smooth on the skin.

2-127/Luxe sheer cheek
Fab blush brush, really picks up the product and pigment of the blush so your blusher looks the same colour as it does in the pan, I also like to use this to bronze and contour as its angled it works well in defining under the cheek bones.

3-102/silk Finish
Good but I'm not really a foundation brush person and if I do use a brush,I prefer flat top ones to apply my foundation. I'm sure I will find a good use for it or it may be the perfect brush for a full coverage foundation in the future.

4-142/Concealer Buffer
Great for blending out concealer under the eyes, around the brows after defining and on spots if you use a very gently touch.

5-231/Luxe petit crease
perfect for getting the outer v shade or smudging out the lower lash line with a shadow.

6-221/Luxe Soft crease
You really can't have enough of these sort of brushes, I love using this to apply my crease shade.

7-224/Luxe Defined Crease
Great for applying brow highlight and also blending.

8-227/Luxe Soft Definer
I use this to blend, blend, blend! Love it!

9- 234/luxe Smoky Shader
Great for packing the lid colour on, works great with shimmery eyeshadows, really picks up product.

10- 317/wing liner
I found this didn't work well for me when applying gel liner I don't know why, but I love to use it when applying my dip brow. It gives a really crisp and defined finish.

How I got rid of my acne quickly, cheaply and easily.

TIPS
.Always Remove makeup correctly especially before sleeping.
.Keep it simple
.Don't fall for these crazy skincare systems
.Know what your sensitive or allergic too ( mines alcohol and charcoal)
.Change pillow case regularly
.Keep hair pulled back whilst sleeping.
.And the cream that cured my acne for less then £3

It's important you take care of your skin in general, obviously sleeping with makeup on will clog your pores and cause spots.

Cleansing your face to remove any dirt or oils is vital but keep it simple.
Use products that aren't harsh and remember your washing it away so it doesn't need to cost a fortune.
I recommend simple facial washes, amazing price and amazing at gently cleansing the skin.
Liz Earle hot cloth cleanser is another fave of mine, it not only removes makeup but leaves your skin feeling moisturised.

Toning and moisturising are all part of the process never use alcohol based toners, they irritate and dry out the skin, they made my acne worse.

Moisturise
Some acne can be because your skin is needing moisture. Even if you're oily you still need to moisturise. During the day I recommend using the simple light moisturiser. It's amazing stuff doesn't irritate sensitive skin, sinks into the skin and makes a great base for makeup without it sliding of your face.
At night I'd use something a lot more moisturising I like the bouncy mask from the body shop.

All these are standard things anyone should do, they help fight acne but the thing that cured my acne and that keeps it at bay is ......Panoxly cream. At first i used quinorderm 10 but I believe it's been discontinued, so I had to find something else. At first you will probably hate it, it will get worse before it gets better. Your skin will dry out and peel in areas, and my acne spots got larger, do not overuse, after a couple of weeks this will go as your skin adjusts and your acne will be gone TRUST ME.

Quinorderm 10 was sold in both superdrug and boots it was just under £3
Panoxly is available online if you look around you may find it cheaper.
At that price what's their to loose.

Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish Hot cloth cleanser vs Philosophy Purity Cleasner.

Liz Earle hot cloth cleanser

Was the first of its kind that I tried and I fell in love.
I'm a massive Liz Earle fan, all their products are wonderful!
It made my skin feel amazing and moisturised even after cleansing.
It's a thick cream consistency that feels very luxurious on the skin.
I love the smell and that its packed with goodness, it doesn't irritate
my sensitive skin or eyes at all and I found when I stop using it my skin
got worse, when I started using it again it improved.

Pros
Smells lovely
Leaves the skin soft, smooth and hydrated.
Comes with a muslin cloth.
Is affordable.
Improves skin texture and appearance.
Seemed to help my acne.
Made me feel pampered.

Cons
Doesn't last me long enough and I'm very sparing with it as is.
Can still find traces of makeup on the skin after cleansing
Takes a while to do.

Purity by Philosophy

I bought this because I wanted to try something new.
I love my cleanse and polish but I find it annoying how quickly it goes and
having to order it all the time is a hassle. I may go back to it in the future but
I can say this is a fantastic cleanser. It doesn't moisturise the skin like the
Liz Earle cleanser but it doesn't claim to, so its fine. it's removes every trace
of makeup so easily. I can wear a full face and with one cleanse remove it all,
even stubborn mascara. I was pleasantly suprrised. Its a very liquid, milk,
consistency unlike the thick creamy hot cloth cleanser. It's also going to last
me a lot longer then the Liz Earle cleanser. I got mine for £12.50 from boots
for 236ml compared to £14 for 100 ml from liz Earle. Although there are larger
Sizes and promo codes also available. If when I finish this bottle, I still love it
as much as I do now I will buy the 946ml HUGE bottle from qvc it's only £39
and it will last around a year according to others who have reviewed.

Pros
Removes makeup extremely well. Without having to use a cloth.
Is very quick to use if your busy.
Lasts for a long time so don't keep having to repurchase.
Great for oily skin.

Cons
Hard to explain, it doesn't irritate but its kind of uncomfortable on the water line of
your eyes when your cleansing them, doesn't make them sore or water, doesn't
hurt just kind of itches the water line but once you wash it of its fine.
A little bit dry after using it but nothing major that moisturise isn't there for.
Can't help but taste it in your mouth and it tastes like washing up liquid a bit.
Not as gentle on the skin.

If your looking for something that removes makeup quickly whilst showering really
well I'd recommend the purity which is what I'm leaning more towards.
If your looking for something that is great for your skins condition as well as
cleansing the face I'd go for the Liz Earle. I do adore the Liz Earle and will continue
to buy it, I will defiantly purchase a 200ml bottle next time when there's offers or
promo code. I can't say which is my fave because their both so different it really
depends on what you want from a cleanser.

Hope this is helpful.
